Leongatha Equestrian Park is the home of Leongatha and District Equestrian Club is located at 4 Tilson CRT Leongatha 3953,located in the Leongatha Industrial Estate. The grounds house two purpose built sand arena's for both Dressage and Showjumping, Cross Country and Working Equitation, including New portable Dressage arena's, Show Jumps and New Working Equitation equipment, 20+ tie up yards, double horse wash bay, Club Rooms, the club is open to all level of rider in any discipline. The club has an enthusiastic membership of pleasure riders right through to serious competitors and the rally format and guest coaches try to cater for all of this diversity. Coaches from the local area, State and International coaches have visited the club in the past instructing in the areas of Dressage, Showjumping, Cross country and Now "Working Equitation", horsemanship and much more. LDEC submits teams for the HRCAV TTT events in Combined Training, Dressage, Showjumping & Horse Trials. The LDEC Showjumping team has won the state wide event more than 4 times, on our most recent , 2 years in a row and have successfully hosted the event on several occasion. The LDEC TTT Dressage Team always places well, Most recently the LDEC composite riders won the TTT Combined Training event with Bennison, in 2015. LDEC is part of The Gippsland Dressage Series 2016,2017, We run an annual Show and Dressage Comp with an award for an LDEC members High Point .Our club prides itself on being a family orientated club with a large social element as well as offering great riding tuition. Our Rally's are run once or twice a month depending on demand
